My initial impression of Abe’s cello bow was pure admiration for some of the most beautiful workmanship I’ve seen. I continued to be impressed after trying it since it draws as weighty a sound as heavier bows, but with an agility and finesse they can often lack. Location & HoursOur workshop is on Adams Avenue in North Park, San Diego. Our entrance is through the metal gate below our sign. Kindly ring the bell and we'll buzz you in.

RehairRehair includes a general evaluation of bow condition, light cleaning, French Polish before the application of the highest quality of horsehair.

Repair & RestorationWe offer tip repairs with traditional and contemporary materials, windings, frog repairs in ebony and other materials, pearl slide and eye replacements, eyelets, custom frog and button replicas, repairs of cracked or damaged sticks.

RentalsHigh quality violins, violas, and cellos available in all sizes with professional setups. Rental equity accrues credit toward future purchases.

Supplies & AccessoriesIn addition to bows, we offer a variety of professional quality supplies, cases, and materials for maintaining bows and instruments.

Insurance LettersYour bow is a valuable investment- for your own benefit it is important to properly care for it with a correct insurance evaluation. We charge $100 for insurance letters and $25 for updates to previously written Abe Liebhaber Bows insurance letters.
