Rehair services include light cleaning, French polish, and an initial rosining with Salchow cake, never powdered (let me know if you prefer your fresh hair without).

All rehair services subject to state and local sales tax (8%) on the cost of horsehair. My prices are tax-inclusive and reflect the actual cost to you for a rehair.

New tariffs on Chinese trade goods of 13.5% have significantly increased the cost of the high quality bowhair that I use. The cost of rehair listed below includes a $10 increase since February 2020.

A note on fall/winter weather conditions in Southern California
Santa Ana winds and the extreme dry conditions that accompany them make rehairs difficult for a number of reasons. In the past, I have noted drops in humidity from 85% to less than 20% in the space of two hours (even near the coast), so a recently rehaired bow may be at risk of serious damage if the hair has not had time to stretch slightly from normal use. If the weather report has them on the way, I will delay any rehair work until conditions change.
